Boundaries: Vic/Esq would like to include all of View Royal. Numbers over
the years have been dropping. The players that are playing now in Saanich or
JDF would be grandfathered in. Boundary movement must go to the Minor
Directorate (BCLA), they will decide

Jack Crosby Endowment Fund:
BCLA has started an endowment fund. They are looking for private donations.
Looking at raising $10,000. See BCLA website for more information. Motion
for VIMLC to donate $100.00 Carmen Schmidbauer,

started; there will be problems in the North end of Island from Bantam “A”
and up. Would recommend that some of these association schedule games
weeknights to accommodate the reffing problem. Level 2 refs very short

the team B.C peewee camp May 25th (district try-outs)

to Apply through BCLA, but we will accept walk-ins at these camps

Alberni Valley:
final registration April 6, Will need help in the reffing department for
Bantam & Midget age groups, 5 teams
Campbell River:
8 teams, 119 players
Comox Valley:
9 teams 124 players
Cowichan Valley:
18 teams 263 players
Gold River:
1 team 16 players, last e-mail from Terry was that Gold River will be
folding after this season, will send players (hopefully) to Campbell River.
Juan De Fuca:
29 teams, 462 players
Nanaimo:
17 teams 286 players
Oceanside:
Absent- 11 teams, 147 players
Peninsula:
Matt Underwood Tournament full. 12 teams, 190 players
Powell River:
will be playing in house this season
Saanich:
21 teams 320 players
Vic/Esq:
Novice tournament still has openings, 7 teams, 110 players

Movement Alberni Valley: -
Bantam Player to peewee, small girl, played novice last year because
of size. Would like to play one year of peewee before having to move up to

Comox Valley player, second
year of playing lacrosse (1993) 5feet tall 98 pounds, would like to move
down and play in the bantam league Noreen McCaffrey, Paula Marks
M/S/C

Saanich- has 2nd
year player, wants to address where he plays. Lives in the Saanich
catchment, but parents claim they live in JDF catchment, with is currently a
cement slab waiting for a future home to be built. Motion that we the
commission direct this player back to his proper association (Saanich) to
register for this playing season. Carmen Schmidbauer, Steve Sharples

Saanich abstained from this vote.

Kerry Park
Bill. This bill is from last season’s play-off in Kerry Park, which no one
seems to want to pay. Please pay it as Tammy is getting creditors phoning
her for this bill as well as letters from creditors.

Tammy received
letter from Alberni Valley asking them to reimburse a bill they received
from their city from damages resulting from a Nanaimo Midget team last
season. Motion to pass the bill to Nanaimo to deal with, Paul Paone, Gord
Cawthorne M/S/C
Nanaimo will get in touch with Alberni to deal with this.
